Coverage, costs and personalized savings.

Drug prices can differ based on benefit plans, whether or not deductibles are met, and pharmacy pricing.

Our drug cost and coverage tool makes it easy to see if a drug is covered and what you can expect to pay.  To get started, sign in or register for an account at Caremark.com, or with our mobile app.

Use our drug cost and coverage tool to enter the drug name, choose your prescribed amount, and search.  Results will show prices for brand name, generics, or therapeutic alternatives covered under your plan.

If you don't see a price, it means the drug isn't covered. Your best value is the option that can save you the most money.  You can also check the price difference between having your medications delivered by mail or picking them up at the pharmacy, plus compare costs at different pharmacies in your network.  And check out more ways to save by reviewing drug savings opportunities personalized just for you.

Where to fill your Rx.

Where to fill your Rx.

Where you get your medication depends on your plan, but you can decide the most convenient way to fill your Rx. Filling in a network pharmacy will ensure you don’t overpay. To locate one nearby, use the Find a Pharmacy tool.

If you can’t or don’t want to go to the pharmacy, our mail service pharmacy can deliver 90-day supplies of medications you take regularly. It’s contactless to keep you safe, there’s no delivery fee, and you’ll probably save money, too.

Check for ways to save on the Drug Savings Opportunities page on Caremark.com (find it under the Plan & Benefits menu)

Ask your doctor to prescribe generics or preferred brands if available

Always use a network pharmacy (find one with the Pharmacy Locator at Caremark.com)

Consider filling your prescriptions for medications you take regularly by mail (filling by mail in 90-day supplies often costs less)

Sign in to Caremark.com, go to your Profile page and click on Communication Preferences to choose to receive messages by email or text. Once you opt in, we can send you updates on your orders, alerts when savings opportunities are available, and important information about your medications. To start filling by mail, you’ll need a new 90-day prescription. You can either:

Ask your doctor to send an electronic prescription to CVS Caremark Mail Service Pharmacy. This is the fastest way to get started – you can expect to get your medication in 7 to 10 business days.

        OR

Click here and we will contact your doctor and get the process started for you. Once we reach your doctor and receive approval, it will take 7 to 10 business days for your medication to be delivered.

Remember, because CVS Caremark Mail Service fills prescriptions in 90-day supplies, it can be used for medications you take regularly (like high blood pressure, diabetes, or high cholesterol medications). For short-term medications (like an antibiotic), use a retail pharmacy in your plan’s network. You can find one by using the Pharmacy Locator at Caremark.com.

To set up automatic refills and renewals, sign in to Caremark.com and click on Manage Automatic Refills under the Prescriptions menu. You’ll need to choose which medications you’d like automatically refilled, set up a payment method and choose how you’d like to receive messages about your refills (text, automated phone call or email).

Once you start automatic refills, we will automatically mail your medication before your refill due date. If your prescription is out of refills, we’ll contact your doctor to have it renewed.

We’ll notify you when we’re about to start processing your order. If you have to change or cancel it, you’ll need to do it within 10 days of receiving this notification.

Please note that some prescriptions can’t be automatically refilled. These include prescriptions for controlled substances and specialty medications, and prescriptions covered by certain government payers, including Medicare Part B.
